Bookending Autumn: The Lion, the Witch, and the Low Wardrobe Choices

Hey guys, happy fall! Today I am doing my first post for Bookending Autumn, hosted by Sam @ Fictionally Sam and Clo @ Cuppa Clo! This prompt comes from Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads, and it’s matching Halloween costumes to characters! This looked really fun, so I’m excited to do it. 😀

The Lion: Leader of the Pack

Liam is definitely a great leader. Though sometimes he seems to put everyone else before himself a little too much and keeping up optimism constantly wears him down more than he lets on, he doesn’t let it stop him from reaching his goals and protecting those he cares about.

The Witch: Someone Magical

Lorelai from The Shadow Queen has some really cool powers! I really liked the magic system in this one. 😀 (Though, I’ll admit I almost went with Meira from Snow Like Ashes, but I feel like I mention her for questions like this a little too much. 😛 )

The Mummy: Someone Wrapped Up in Secrets

Sam definitely has a lot of secrets about his dark past, and watching him trying to keep them separate from Moxie and her family and the new life he is trying to build for himself and his brother is just so stressful and heartbreaking because you want so bad for everything to work out for him and yet you know they can’t…at least not easily. I swear this book will squeeze your heart to death! (With love…mostly. :P)

The Pirate: Someone Good With A Sword

Celaena! I mean she is an assassin, and she’s skilled with almost any weapon. Also she’s even holding two swords on the cover, so… XD

The Ghost: Someone Quiet

I related to Julian from this so so so much. Just his whole personality and the way he thinks and copes with things…ugh this book is just so beautiful. :,D

The Cat: Someone Stealthy

Inej is definitely stealthy. I mean they call her The Wraith. She’s the spy for the Dregs and is known for being excellent at getting around without making a sound.

The Fairy: Someone Spiteful

Eelyn was definitely very spiteful throughout the most part of the book. But oh man I LOVED her character development when she realizes that the enemy she had been raised to hate all her life are really just people like her. ❤ The themes of family, choosing love over hate, humanity, and the loveable characters were my favorite things about this book! Mixed with the viking atmosphere, setting, and action, this book was just so awesome!

The Vampire: Someone Bloodthirsty

Keris, aka The Commandant, is pretty dang evil and bloodthirsty. Oh who am I kidding? So is pretty much everyone else in this world except maybe Laia and Elias. XD

Do you agree with my answers? Who would you have picked? What prompts have you done for Bookending Autumn? How’s your October going? 😀

  1. You seemed to have lots of fun with this one! It was nice to read your answers with the explanations; although of course I have read none of them (which is the usual.. ahah!)

I’m so bad at thoses that I could only think of someone for the Cat and possibly the ghost x) I swear when I try to answer tags like this I forget EVERYTHING about all the characters i’ve ever read ..
